The mission of the Pachamama Alliance is simple, yet bold: “bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on this planet.” The Pachamama Alliance of the Rochester Area (PARA), was formed in 2012, when we began offering “Awakening the Dreamer” as a live, interactive symposium, free and open to everyone in the region. Now available through an online, self-paced, two-hour educational program, Awakening The Dreamer showcases the vision of environmental sustainability, social justice, and spiritual fulfillment that both the local and international groups share.
The expansive vision of both the local and international groups, has inspired many paths to engagement and action, as demonstrated in PARA's growth and its initiatives, which reflect the interests and passions of our members. This list of initiatives continues to grow as new members join us and new issues come to light.
The Year In Review 2023, is long but so rich.
